Supplements and Vitamins
First let's define what we mean by the word
supplements. It was coined to describe products you can
take in addition to your normal diet. Congress passed the
Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act (DSHEA) of 1994 which
created a definition of what a supplement is:
As defined by Congress in the DSHEA,
a dietary
supplement is a product (other than tobacco) that:
This includes a wide variety of products from vitamins,
to minerals, herbs or other botanicals, amino acids, and substances
such as enzymes, organ tissues, glandulars, and metabolites.

we have to supplement our
diets. And today each of us have to think about what degenerative
disease is waiting as we get older. Will it be cancer, diabetes,
heart disease? These are all caused by nutritional deficiencies.
